Spiced Salmon Bowl
The salmon is delicious on its own, for extra protein and fibre, serve with hard boiled egg, avocado, and additional greens.

Ingredients
- 2 filets salmon, skinned removed and cubed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Additional toppings for serving: hard boiled egg, sliced avocado, cucumber, sliced green onions, fresh herbs, sprouts or greens
- Season as desired - with sesame seeds, drizzle with olive oil, spicy mayo, soy sauce, miso, a squeeze of lime, chopped fresh cilantro etc.
Instructions

Cook grains (rice, couscous or quinoa) as directed on package (10-20 mins).

Combine all sauce ingredients into a bowl.

Cut up salmon into small pieces (remove skin).

Combine salmon with sauce mixture, stir well.

Pan fry salmon pieces in a skillet over medium heat until golden / blackened on all sides (8-10 mins).

Prepare your bowls:

Lay the blackened salmon pieces on top of cooked grains.

Add additional toppings as desired: avocado, cucumber, hard-boiled eggs, sprouts, greens, black sesame seeds, cilantro, salt & pepper, and other ingredients as desired.

Top with spicy mayo, miso dressing or soy sauce.
